

According to a report from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province, as of 10 PM on March 15th, the organization of elections in all communes and wards in Phu Tho province had taken place safely, in a festive atmosphere, and in accordance with the law.


To ensure the election day proceeded smoothly, efficiently, and with absolute safety, regular and continuous inspections were intensified before election day. On election day, provincial leaders and relevant authorities coordinated seamlessly and closely. The province had 3,705 polling stations; security, order, and social safety were ensured.


The Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee assigned members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to attend the opening ceremony and directly supervise the election work in a number of communes and wards.

As of 10 PM on March 15th, the total number of registered voters in the province was 2,751,688; the number of voters who had cast their ballots was 2,749,248, reaching a turnout rate of 99.91%. Across the province, 87 out of 148 communes and wards had a 100% voter turnout, accounting for 58.78%.


At all polling stations, voters demonstrated a high sense of responsibility in exercising their civic rights. Many voters in industrial zones cast their ballots before continuing their work shifts; many hospitals organized the delivery of ballot boxes to patients' bedsides so they could vote; nearly 2,000 people in temporary detention centers were able to exercise their civic rights in the election...

On election day, the authorities ensured absolute political security and social order, with comprehensive security measures implemented around and within polling stations. Police, military, and local militia forces coordinated closely, intensifying operational measures, conducting regular, scientific, and effective inspections and monitoring to prevent any incidents or violations.

On election day, traffic and communication were ensured to flow smoothly throughout the election process.
