The delegations offered incense at the memorials for martyrs in the ward, including: the Thinh Quang Martyrs Memorial, the Nam Dong Memorial, the Trung Liet Memorial, and the Lang Ha Memorial (Ung Thien Temple). These are historical landmarks associated with the local revolutionary history, commemorating the heroic deeds and sacrifices of the martyrs.

Next, the delegations visited and presented gifts to families entitled to preferential treatment, those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution in the area; mothers of martyrs, wounded soldiers, children of martyrs, and elderly people over 100 years old in the area.
At each location, the ward leaders cordially inquired about the health and living conditions of the families of policy beneficiaries and those who rendered meritorious services to the nation's revolutionary cause, and expressed their deep gratitude for their immense contributions. The leaders also extended New Year wishes for happiness and prosperity to the elderly, hoping they would continue to be a strong source of spiritual support for their children, grandchildren, and the community.
The gifts, though simple, were imbued with heartfelt sentiment, reflecting the sincere concern of the Party Committee and the government of Dong Da ward for those who contributed to the cause of national liberation, building and protecting the Fatherland.

This is an annual activity with profound humanitarian significance, reflecting the Vietnamese people's tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source" and the close attention of local authorities in caring for the material and spiritual lives of the people during Tet and the spring season, contributing to creating a complete and warm spring.
