The Asian Pickleball Open has a total prize pool of 3 billion VND.

The Michelob ULTRA Pickleball Tournament - Asian Open 2026 will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from June 4th to 7th, bringing together nearly 600 domestic and international athletes competing in 5 specialized events.

The tournament, jointly organized by AAC andFPT Play, aims to build a regional-scale pickleball competition amidst the sport's strong growth in Vietnam in recent years. According to the organizers, athletes will compete in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles.

A notable feature is the Rally Scoring format, where points are scored directly after each play. In the group stage, matches are played in a best-of-1 (BO1) rally 15-point format, while the knockout rounds are upgraded to BO1 rally 21-point. The final uses a best-of-3 (BO3) rally 15-point format. This scoring system helps to speed up the game, reduce waiting time, and requires players to maintain high concentration in every play.

The organizers expect the tournament to create a high-quality competitive environment by bringing together many top players from the Asia-Pacific region. Professional management is handled by PVNA, the unit responsible for managing the pickleball ranking system in Vietnam. Meanwhile, Pickleball World Communications is responsible for international media coverage to expand the tournament's reach.

FPT Play continues its involvement in the production and broadcasting of the tournament after previously co-organizing the PPA Tour Asia - Vietnam Cup 2025. According to the plan, this year's tournament will be filmed to the same standards as professional pickleball events in the region, using a maximum of eight cameras at the center court.

All matches will be broadcast exclusively on the FPT Play ecosystem in Full HD quality.
