After five days of exciting competition, from September 30th to October 4th, 2025, at the Tien Son Sports Palace and Tuyen Son Sports Village (Da Nang), the PPA Tour Asia – MB Vietnam Cup 2025 international pickleball tournament concluded with resounding success, not only in terms of professional quality but also in its organizational scale and audience appeal.
The packed stands, the fervent atmosphere, and the continuous applause for every dramatic moment... all combined to create a truly exceptional sporting festival.
With over 7,900 spectators in attendance, the event was officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's largest live-streamed pickleball game, breaking the previous record set in the United States.
The Guinness World Record is not only a source of pride for the organizers but also a testament to the growing appeal of Pickleball in Vietnam.
The tournament, organized byFPT Play in collaboration with the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation and AAC Company, brought together nearly 600 professional and amateur athletes from many countries.
This includes top world players such as Ben Johns, Tyson McGuffin, Kaitlyn Christian, along with many outstanding representatives from Vietnam such as Phuc Huynh, Trinh Linh Giang, and Alix Truong.
With professional prize money reaching up to $150,000 and a competition system adhering to international standards, Vietnam has become a new bright spot on the global Pickleball map.
This event is not only a turning point for Vietnamese sports, but also a clear testament to the ability to organize world-class tournaments, contributing to promoting the country's culture, tourism, and image to international friends.
