According to La Repubblica , PSG hopes to receive around 40 million euros from this transfer. Many European giants such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Inter Milan are paying attention to Donnarumma's future, especially after his significant contribution to PSG's Champions League victory last season.

Donnarumma's contract runs until June 2026, but the failure to reach an extension agreement and disagreements over financial terms have led PSG to consider parting ways with the Italian international. Donnarumma's salary demands are around €10 million per year, which has hampered negotiations between him and PSG.

If an agreement cannot be reached on salary, PSG may have to accept selling Donnarumma this summer instead of letting him leave on a free transfer next summer.

Speaking about his future, Donnarumma said: "I didn't know that my agent was at Inter's headquarters. I am very happy in Paris and it is the club that will decide whether or not to renew my contract. I am open to all possibilities, but my first choice is to stay in Paris. The fans love me and I hope to have many years here."

Currently, Donnarumma is training with the Italian national team. He will make a decision about his future after the training camp ends. PSG has no intention of meeting Donnarumma's demands, opening the door for top European clubs to join the race for the 26-year-old goalkeeper's signature.
