Customers choose to buy OCOP products at the Provincial Museum.
Implementing the One Commune One Product Program, the province currently has 214 OCOP products. Of these, 1 product has achieved 5 stars, 69 products have achieved 4 stars, and 144 products have achieved 3 stars, mainly belonging to the food, beverage, herbal, and handicraft categories. In recent years, many of the province's OCOP products have been trusted and chosen by consumers for personal use and as gifts, especially during Tet (Lunar New Year). These products are highly valued for their guaranteed quality, clear origin, and increasingly attractive designs.
Responding to market demand, many local specialty stores have partnered with OCOP (One Commune One Product) organizations to offer their products in gift boxes and baskets for holidays and festivals. Among these, coffee, dried fruits, jams, macadamia nuts, honey, various teas, and wines are popular choices. To meet diverse needs, these businesses offer various weight options for each product. Currently, a gift basket typically costs between 500,000 and 800,000 VND, containing approximately 5-7 items. There are also premium gift baskets, customized to customer specifications, priced from 1 to 1.5 million VND. Besides ensuring quality, these businesses also focus on packaging design to make the products more visually appealing and suitable as gifts.

OCOP products from Tay Bac Cooperative, Yen Chau commune, are packaged into Tet gift baskets.
At this time, the demand for OCOP products is increasing sharply. To meet market demand, units and entities with OCOP products in the area are stepping up production, proactively securing supplies, and increasing manpower to ensure timely delivery. In addition, many OCOP booths and fairs are being organized, making it convenient for consumers to access, compare, and choose local products as gifts. Businesses and cooperatives are also expanding their distribution systems through agents and boosting online sales, resulting in a 25-40% increase in sales volume compared to the period before Tet (Lunar New Year).
Tet gifts made from OCOP products are not only a way to exchange safe and high-quality gifts, but also an opportunity to widely promote products with distinctive regional characteristics, contributing to elevating the brand of local processed agricultural products.
