Quang Ngai: Assignment of tasks to the Chairman and 5 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee

After announcing the Prime Minister's Decision on approving the election results of the positions of 2 Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, Comrade Nguyen Hoang Giang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, signed a decision assigning tasks to the Chairman and 5 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Specifically, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Hoang Giang directs, operates and manages all activities of the Provincial People's Committee; leads members of the Provincial People's Committee, heads of agencies, units, and enterprises under the Provincial People's Committee and People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones.

Directly direct and manage the following areas: Planning, plans, mechanisms, and policies for socio -economic development of the province. Manage the budget, investment and development plans; areas including organizational structure, personnel work, national defense, security, inspection, human resource development, administrative reform, administrative procedure control, and digital transformation.

Duties: Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council; Chairman of the Provincial Military Service Council; Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee; Head of the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee; Head of the Provincial Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue; Head of the Provincial Border Work Steering Committee; Head of the Steering Committees according to the regulations of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Y Ngoc province, assigned to be in charge of the following areas: Statistics; foreign affairs; education, training and vocational training; culture, sports and tourism; labor - war invalids and social affairs; press, propaganda; family and children; other social fields; mass mobilization work; youth work; East Sea and island program.

Permanent Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Y Ngoc spoke at the meeting.

Duties: Head of the Steering Committee on Women's Advancement; Head of the Steering Committees in the assigned field.

On behalf of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, directly monitor and direct the departments, branches, agencies and units: Foreign Affairs; Statistics; Education and Training; Culture, Sports and Tourism; public service units under the responsible branches and fields.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam is assigned to be in charge of the following areas: Health; Ethnicity and Religion; Finance, prices; currency, banking, state treasury, tax, customs, auditing, public assets (including state-owned housing); arrangement and innovation of state-owned enterprises (including public service units) under the province's management; non-refundable aid capital not included in official support from foreign agencies, organizations and individuals; National target program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030.
