Quang Tri Province has a new Police Chief.

Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai, Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police, has been appointed as the Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police.

The decision was handed over to Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai by Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security , on November 24th, at the Quang Tri Provincial Police headquarters.

His predecessor, Colonel Nguyen Van Thanh, was transferred by the Minister of Public Security to become Deputy Director of the Economic Security Department.

Upon assuming his new role, Colonel Hai expressed his hope to work together with all officers and soldiers of the Quang Tri Provincial Police to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai, 46 years old, is from Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province. Before becoming Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police in 2015, he served as the Chief of Police of Hoang Mai town.
