Quang Tri province announces Tet bonus amounts: Highest reaches 170 million VND.

QTO - The Department of Internal Affairs of Quang Tri province, in coordination with the Provincial Labor Union, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, and the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones, recently reviewed and assessed the situation regarding the payment of salaries and bonuses to workers during the New Year and Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) in 2026. Based on the survey, the highest expected bonus for the 2026 New Year is 37.5 million VND, and for the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) is 170 million VND.

Regarding Tet bonuses for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the highest expected bonus in private enterprises is 170 million VND per person, while the lowest is 200,000 VND per person. Currently, 349 enterprises have not yet announced their Tet bonus plans for 2026.

The survey results also indicate that 3,248 businesses have planned New Year's Day bonuses for 2026, with the highest being 37.5 million VND per person in foreign-invested enterprises and the lowest being 100,000 VND per person. Currently, 407 businesses have not yet planned New Year's Day bonuses.

Regarding the overall income situation, the average net salary paid to workers in Quang Tri in 2025 reached 7.31 million VND per month. Of this, the highest salary recorded was 120 million VND and the lowest was 3.45 million VND.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs Truong Thi Thanh Hoa, at the time of reporting, based on compiled data from relevant units, there are no businesses in Quang Tri province that owe wages to their employees.

Through surveys on wages and bonuses, the units have urged and reminded businesses to comply with legal regulations on wages and bonuses for employees, preventing labor disputes.
