Focus on economic development.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Son district, the district's goal for 2025 is to strive for a 11-12% increase in the total value of production across the entire economy compared to 2024.

Specifically, the value of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries is projected to increase by 3% or more; the value of industry, handicrafts, and construction by 11-13%; and the value of trade and services by 11-13%.

By 2025, Que Son aims to achieve an average per capita income of 55 million VND or more. The goal is to develop the towns of Dong Phu, Huong An, and Trung Phuoc to meet the standards of civilized urban areas.

In addition, efforts will be made to achieve advanced new rural commune standards for Que Chau, Que Long, and Que Loc communes. Specifically, the goal is to develop Que Son into a new rural district by the end of 2025...

To achieve the above objectives, the locality will strengthen planning management; review, adjust, and supplement relevant plans to ensure consistency and synchronization with provincial, district, and sectoral plans; continue planning new industrial zones in line with the province's development orientation; and accelerate the construction progress of key projects...

“This year, Que Son will continue to invest in infrastructure development, strengthen promotion efforts, and attract investment into industrial clusters. We will focus on supporting the development of products with local advantages such as agarwood and wood processing. We will also consolidate, restore, and develop traditional craft villages…” - Mr. Hoa said.

According to Mr. Nguyen Chi Tung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Son district, in the coming time, the locality will promote the restructuring of the agricultural sector towards commodity production associated with the development of ecotourism and the construction of new rural areas.

In particular, there are suitable solutions to strongly attract businesses to invest in rural areas, especially in high-tech agriculture, to build value chain linkages and product consumption...

In 2025, the focus will be on developing high-economic-value orchards; striving to have approximately 10% of agricultural products from these orchards traceable and adhering to clean agricultural production standards.

Establishing, restoring, expanding, and developing native plant species of the district; with a focus on building specialized production areas for Đại Bình pomelo, lotus, Thanh Tiêu banana, bamboo for shoots, etc.

Ensuring social security

Along with economic development, this year Que Son is also focusing on implementing a comprehensive range of solutions to further improve the spiritual life of its people and ensure social security.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, the district leaders have requested all levels and sectors to effectively implement policies and regulations for revolutionary veterans and social welfare beneficiaries; focus on renovating and upgrading martyrs' cemeteries; and complete the plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. In addition, the locality is focusing on improving the quality and effectiveness of vocational training, job creation, and increasing income for the people.

In the coming period, Que Son will mobilize maximum resources for poverty reduction, promoting the spirit of mutual support and assistance to overcome difficulties and stabilize life.

Review school facilities, plan for new construction and renovation to ensure that schools meet national standards; conduct educational quality assessments according to the set plan, and link investment in national standard school facilities with the construction of new rural areas.

"In particular, Que Son will accelerate administrative reform, focusing on administrative procedures, improving the quality of operation of the district's reception and results delivery department; and implement the full and partial online application submission process according to the set plan."

"The locality continues to accelerate the implementation of Government Project No. 06, especially activating electronic identification, digitizing administrative procedure processing records, and entering data into the national population database as directed by higher authorities," said Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa.

By 2025, Que Son strives to reduce the number of poor households by 50 or more; have 6 schools achieve educational quality accreditation and national standard recognition; have at least 90% of villages, residential areas, families, agencies, units, and businesses meet cultural standards; and achieve a health insurance coverage rate of 97% of the district's population...
