'Green Dream' Charity Fund

At the gift-giving ceremony for child cancer patients undergoing treatment at K Tan Trieu Hospital, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Tran Lan Anh stated that today's program is a charitable activity within the "Green Dream" charity fund of the Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper. The Green Dream fund has the joint efforts and support of journalists and philanthropists, and notably, today's program is supported by MB Bank.

Green Dream Charity Fund, journalists and public opinion group, stands in solidarity with child cancer patients (Figure 1).

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper, Tran Lan Anh, shared this at the gift-giving ceremony for child patients at K Tan Trieu Hospital.

"Hopefully, these small gifts will help to further motivate the families of the young patients during their treatment. The editorial board of the Newspaper & Public Opinion, the Green Dream Fund, and MB Bank wish the children a positive recovery so they can continue to go to school and fulfill their dreams," journalist Tran Lan Anh shared.

On behalf of the leadership of K Tan Trieu Hospital, Ms. Hoang Thi Hoai Thu - Deputy Head of the Social Work Department, expressed gratitude for the valuable support and companionship of the Newspaper of Journalists & Public Opinion over the past time, which has been dedicated to assisting families of patients in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Hoang Thi Hoai Thu, Deputy Head of the Social Work Department at K Tan Trieu Hospital, expressed her gratitude for the support from the Newspaper & Public Opinion and MB Bank.

Ms. Thu stated that the child patients receiving gifts today were selected by the Social Work Department of K Tan Trieu Hospital and the Newspaper of Journalists & Public Opinion from among 300 inpatients at the hospital. All of them come from very difficult circumstances, including near-poverty families, minority families, and some have been undergoing treatment for a very long time.

"Through this meaningful activity of the Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper, we, as well as the families of the child patients, have more faith in the support of philanthropists in the journey to conquer cancer, and more hope for a brighter tomorrow, just like the name of the Fund 'Green Dream '," Ms. Hoang Thi Hoai Thu expressed.

Receiving a gift from the "Green Dream" Fund, Ms. Pham Thi Lien, whose young child is being treated in the Pediatric Department of K Tan Trieu Hospital, emotionally shared: "The battle against my child's serious illness will certainly be long. Thank you to the Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper for supporting our family with this very valuable financial contribution, giving us more motivation to overcome the disease."

The Green Dream charity fund, along with journalists and public opinion, stands in solidarity with child cancer patients (Figure 4).

The delegation took photos with doctors, nurses, family members, and child patients at K Tan Trieu Hospital.

Continuing its journey, the Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper continues to deliver gifts to children undergoing cancer treatment at the National Children's Hospital.

Sharing her thoughts at the event, journalist Tran Lan Anh expressed: "The Newspaper & Public Opinion is organizing this gift-giving event for child cancer patients undergoing treatment at the National Children's Hospital today with the desire to act as a bridge, transferring heartfelt contributions from journalists, philanthropists, and the support of MB Bank to these children."

"Hopefully, this collective effort will help alleviate some of the difficulties faced by these children, compensating for and sharing some of their losses and disadvantages. We hope the families remain steadfast, and that the children maintain a positive spirit to overcome the challenges of illness and experience a positive recovery in the future."

Journalist Tran Lan Anh expressed her hope that the children undergoing cancer treatment at the National Children's Hospital will soon recover and continue to pursue their dreams in the future.

Welcoming the delegation from the Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper to visit and present gifts to child cancer patients, Mr. Trinh Ngoc Hai - Deputy Director of the National Children's Hospital - said that the Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper has been accompanying the National Children's Hospital for many years in medical examination and treatment; and health education and communication.

Mr. Trinh Ngoc Hai, Deputy Director of the National Children's Hospital, expressed his gratitude for the noble gesture of the Newspaper & Public Opinion.

"On this occasion, the Newspaper & Public Opinion's visit to donate gifts to child cancer patients is a noble gesture, a great source of psychological care and encouragement for children undergoing treatment, and also a source of motivation for the medical staff of the hospital, to work together to fight the disease and bring the children back to their lives of learning and playing," Mr. Trinh Ngoc Hai shared.

Journalist Tran Lan Anh offered encouragement and gifts to the family of the young patient.

Meeting with and encouraging child patients receiving treatment at K Tan Trieu Hospital and the National Children's Hospital, the delegation from the Newspaper & Public Opinion presented each hospital with 10 gift packages worth 10,000,000 VND. The delegation also sent over 100 portions of TH True MILK to the child patients at the two hospitals.

Small gifts were sent to child patients at the National Children's Hospital to give families peace of mind and to help their children overcome difficulties and continue their intensive treatment.

The "Green Dream" charity fund of the Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper was established in 2022. The Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper built the "Green Dream" charity fund to share and help vulnerable groups in society by connecting and mobilizing resources to jointly support medical expenses for cancer patients; tuition fees and vocational training for children who have experienced violence or are at risk of violence; building classrooms for children in mountainous, remote, and disadvantaged areas; awarding scholarships (short-term and long-term) to talented students and underprivileged students in journalism training departments nationwide; and providing support for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers...
