No one in her family pursued art, but from a young age, Quynh Nhu always showed a talent for music . Fascinated by the small instrument, the girl born in 1995 insisted that her mother let her take violin lessons.
Timeless musical pieces are performed with exquisite finesse by violinist Quynh Nhu in her album "Viollage".
In the early 2000s, Quang Ninh province had no schools or training centers for this instrument. Out of love for her daughter, Quynh Nhu's mother researched and took her to the Hanoi Conservatory of Music (now the Vietnam National Academy of Music). There, the 8-year-old girl was accepted and studied violin under the guidance of teacher Vo Van Ha.
In 2023, in Paris, Quynh Nhu attended a masterclass under the guidance of Professor Smailovic-Huart. Throughout her career, Quynh Nhu has always harbored the dream of creating her first solo violin album, titled "Viollage".
"Viollage" is a compound word, a play on words between "Violin" and "Village." This is because the village where Quynh Nhu was born and raised is the main theme of this album.

Quynh Nhu wants to use music to express her gratitude to her homeland.
The album features nine compositions by composers such as Van Cao, Pham Duy, Ho Bac, Tran Tien, and others. These are all familiar songs to audiences of many generations, arranged for violin and performed by Quynh Nhu with exquisite finesse, romance, and a vibrant freshness.
Notably, three famous songs titled "My Village" appear together, with Quynh Nhu placing them at the very beginning. Including all three "My Village" songs (by Van Cao, Ho Bac, and Chung Quan) clearly demonstrates the author's intention: not only to express admiration for the talent of these three veteran composers of Vietnamese music, but also to show her gratitude to the beloved rural areas across Vietnam.
The album also features other wonderful works such as "April Comes" (Duong Thu), "Old Fragrance" (Cung Tien), "Melancholy" (Pham Duy), "You're Still the Same as Before" (Tran Tien), "Dream" (Doan Hoai Nam), and "Xu Doai" (Tran Tuan Anh). Quynh Nhu breathes life into these works through her soaring, romantic, and deeply patriotic piano playing.
