Launching the campaign in response to the "Tree Planting Festival - Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho" in the spring of the Year of the Dragon.

This afternoon, February 15th, in Hai Thai commune, Gio Linh district, the Provincial Youth Union of Agencies and Enterprises, in coordination with the Gio Linh District Youth Union, organized the launching ceremony of the "Tree Planting Festival in Eternal Gratitude to Uncle Ho" and inaugurated the "Youth Tree Row" project. This activity is part of the Youth Union's work program and youth movement in 2024; aiming to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26th (1931 - 2024).

At the ceremony, youth union members and local residents inaugurated the "Youth Tree Planting Project"; and planted 130 trees of various types such as: Dipterocarpus, Dalbergia, Lagerstroemia, and Terminalia chebula... in response to the Tet Tree Planting movement, fulfilling President Ho Chi Minh's advice: "For the benefit of ten years, plant trees; for the benefit of a hundred years, cultivate people."

Throughout the day, many agencies, units, localities, and armed forces in the province also launched the "Tree Planting Festival in Eternal Gratitude to Uncle Ho" campaign for the Spring of the Year of the Dragon 2024.
