Real Madrid looked set for an easy win after leading Villarreal 4-1 after the first half, but the excellent form of striker Alexander Sorloth helped the "Yellow Submarine" draw 4-4 in the penultimate round of La Liga.

Alexander Sorloth scored a poker when he broke through Real Madrid's net in the 39th, 48th, 52nd, and 56th minutes. On the other side of the battle line, the ones who scored to help "Los Blancos" gain the advantage were Arda Guler (14', 45+2'), Joselu (30') and Lucas Vazquez (40').

In the final round of the 2023/2024 Ligue 1 season, PSG won 2-0 against Metz thanks to goals from Carlos Soler and Lee Kang In. The league champions have a total of 76 points after 34 matches.

Monaco and Brest will join PSG as Ligue 1's representatives in the group stage of next season's Champions League, while Lille will play in the preliminary round. Meanwhile, Lorient and Clermont Foot will be relegated, while Metz will play a play-off to avoid relegation.
