These include the majestic Cham towers bearing the marks of time; the Ka Te and Ra Mu Wan festivals rich in humanistic values; the heartfelt folk songs and dances; the vibrant sounds of the Ghi-nang and Pa-ra-nung drums and the resonant Saranai horns echoing through the festival space; and the exquisite colors of brocade fabrics...

Each of these traditional cultural and sporting values ​​not only reflects the rich spiritual life of the Cham people but also contributes to the diverse beauty of Vietnamese culture.

The 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in Khanh Hoa province in 2026 is not only an opportunity to introduce and showcase traditional cultural values, but also a space for the convergence of many unique cultural, sports, and tourism activities.

During the three days of the festival, people and tourists will be able to immerse themselves in folk art programs, performances, and presentations of traditional costumes, festivals, and cultural rituals; participate in exhibitions and displays showcasing traditional crafts; and learn about the distinctive cultural, tourism, and culinary products of seven provinces and cities, including: Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Lam Dong, Tay Ninh, An Giang, Dak Lak, and Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Nguyen Van Mao, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang province, the An Giang delegation participating in the festival consists of nearly 200 members, including 40 Cham ethnic artisans who will participate in all activities at the festival.

Besides competing in sports, with a spirit of exchange and learning, artisans and artists from An Giang province also brought to the festival unique artistic performances and a space to display, introduce, and promote the distinctive traditional culture of the Cham ethnic group in An Giang province.

This is also an opportunity for An Giang province to learn from experience in organizing events, in order to make thorough preparations for the 7th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival, which An Giang province will host.

After three days of cultural and sporting activities, An Giang province's Cham ethnic group left a positive impression on both locals and tourists, spreading awareness of the unique traditional cultural values ​​of the Cham people in An Giang province, with their brocade weaving craft and traditional cakes such as Gante, ha-pay-chal (bird's nest cake), hanaguh (star-shaped cake), and ha-pay-k'gah ​​(rotating cake).

At the festival, the Cham ethnic art troupe from My Duc commune, representing An Giang province, participated in the Folk Art Festival, showcasing Cham ethnic fashion and performing excerpts from the traditional wedding ceremony of the Cham Islam people of An Giang province.

Ms. Ro Hi Mad, in charge of the My Duc Commune's Arts and Culture Team, said that with their Islamic beliefs, the Cham people consider marriage a sacred milestone, a measure of maturity and the standards of each individual. Therefore, Cham Muslim wedding ceremonies are always held solemnly and orderly, with many unique rituals, creating a distinct cultural beauty in community life.
