Many exciting activities

The event was attended by a large number of children, from preschool to junior high school. The program began with colorful musical performances such as "I Am Like a Sunflower" and " Binh Duong, City of Love and Trust" performed by children from the Young Artists Club.

The outdoor stage was even more vibrant with the lively sounds of trumpets and drums from the Ho Van Men Ceremonial Club and artistic performances, creating an extremely boisterous atmosphere. Next to the performance stage were food areas and areas with attractive folk games and activities such as: O An Quan (a traditional Vietnamese board game), ring tossing, statue painting, and ball blowing...

In addition, the organizers also set up free reading booths, art exhibitions, and counseling on summer activities and studies, aiming to help children develop essential skills during the summer. This is an opportunity for parents and children to learn about and choose clubs, teams, and extracurricular activities that suit their interests, thereby supporting the development of their abilities and guiding them towards their talents.

As a parent who brought her child to the event, Ms. Pham Nguyen Kim Thuy (Thu Dau Mot City) found that the activities here brought many practical benefits for young children. “The children get to interact with many friends, learn how to communicate, and build confidence. There are many games that help children become more active and bolder. Simultaneously, activities like drawing, dancing, singing, and storytelling help nurture their souls and creativity. Thanks to this, children discover their interests, and parents learn about their children's strengths and can guide their development.”

Colors of the Homeland

In addition to cultural and outdoor activities, the Provincial Children's House also organized the "I Draw the Colors of My Homeland" competition. The competition attracted nearly 1,000 children from both primary and secondary school age groups.

Painting activities provide an opportunity to stimulate children's thinking and artistic creativity, thereby discovering new artistic talents to nurture and develop. It's also a beneficial and healthy playground; a place for interaction and learning about art and creative ideas after school, contributing to the development of soft skills for children.

In this individual competition, each participant chooses to draw their favorite image on A3 paper provided by the organizers. Through their drawings and colors using crayons, colored pencils, oil paints, etc., the young artists express their feelings, beliefs, and pride in their country, as well as their aspirations for a new era for Vietnam.

On this occasion, the program also presented the children with scholarships to attend talent classes at the Provincial Children's House, along with many meaningful gifts from sponsors, helping them to continue developing their talents, contributing to spreading joy and encouraging a spirit of learning and talent development.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Phan Thai Anh, Director of the Binh Duong Provincial Children's House, emphasized that the painting competition with the theme "I Draw the Colors of My Homeland" is a meaningful activity aimed at celebrating the August Revolution and National Day (September 2nd). Through this, the aim is to nurture pride and love for the homeland and the Vietnamese people in the children; as well as to guide them to continue studying, training, cultivating ideals, and actively participating in activities that benefit their families and society...
