Lots of exciting activities
The festival took place with the participation of many children, from kindergarten to secondary school. The program opened with colorful performances such as "I am like a sunflower" and " Binh Duong, the city of love and trust" performed by children from the Young Artists' Club.
The outdoor stage was even more exciting with the bustling sound of trumpets and drums from the Ho Van Men Rituals Club and performing arts activities, creating an extremely bustling atmosphere. Next to the performance stage was a food court and an area of attractive folk games and activities such as: O an quan, ring throwing, statue painting, blowing balls...
In addition, the organizers also arranged free book reading booths, painting exhibitions and advice on studying and summer activities, to help children practice necessary skills during the summer. This is an opportunity for parents and children to learn about and choose clubs, teams and talent subjects that suit their interests, thereby supporting the development of children's abilities and orientation of strengths.
As a parent who brought her child to the festival, Ms. Pham Nguyen Kim Thuy (Thu Dau Mot City) realized that the activities here bring many practical benefits to young children. “Children get to meet many friends, learn how to communicate, and become more confident. There are many games that help children become more active and bold. At the same time, activities such as drawing, dancing, singing, and storytelling help children nurture their souls and creativity. Thanks to that, children can discover their interests, and parents can also know their children's strengths and guide their development.”
Colors of homeland
In addition to cultural and outdoor activities, the Provincial Children's House also organized the contest "I draw the colors of my homeland". The contest attracted nearly 1,000 children from two age groups: primary and secondary school.
Painting is an opportunity to stimulate children’s thinking and artistic creativity, thereby finding new painting elements to nurture and develop their talents. This is also a useful and healthy playground; a place to exchange and learn knowledge related to painting and creative ideas after school hours, contributing to training soft skills for children.
In the individual competition format, each contestant chose to draw an image they liked on A3 paper prepared by the organizers. Through the strokes and colors from crayons, colored pencils, oil paints, etc., the young artists expressed their feelings, beliefs and pride in their country as well as their wishes for a new era of Vietnam.
On this occasion, the program also sent scholarships to the children to study in gifted classes at the Provincial Children's House along with many meaningful gifts from the sponsor, helping them continue to develop their talents, contributing to spreading joy and encouraging the spirit of learning and developing talents.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Phan Thai Anh, Director of the Binh Duong Provincial Children's House, emphasized that the painting contest with the theme "I draw the colors of my homeland" is a meaningful activity to celebrate the August Revolution and National Day (September 2). Through that, it aims to nurture the pride and love of the homeland and the Vietnamese people in the children; as well as orient them to continue studying, practicing, cultivating ideals, and actively participating in activities that benefit their families and society...
