As night fell, more and more people flocked to the fireworks display locations throughout the capital. In particular, at Van Quan Lake in Ha Dong ward (fireworks display location number 6), from 8 PM on December 31, 2025, the area around the lake was packed with people. Security and order were maintained, and everyone behaved respectfully.
At exactly 11:45 PM, fireworks were launched to welcome the new year. During the 15-minute fireworks display, people enjoyed spectacular bursts of firework displays.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Khanh (Yen Nghia ward) shared: "The fireworks display was truly spectacular, heralding a new year of good health for everyone and happiness for all families. I hope for a prosperous and peaceful new year for everyone."
Amidst the dazzling fireworks display, Nguyen Thi Tra My, a student at the University of Industry, happily shared her wishes for a prosperous new year for everyone. She personally hoped for higher academic achievements, smooth sailing in all endeavors, and much good fortune in the coming year.
Earlier, during this important moment, many wards across the city simultaneously organized art programs to celebrate the New Year 2026.
At Ha Dong Flower Garden, from 7:30 PM on December 31st, the last day of 2025, a large crowd gathered to await the artistic program. The performances, praising the glorious Party, the great President Ho Chi Minh, the developing country, and the peaceful and innovative capital city, delighted many hearts in the final hours of 2025.
Meanwhile, at the headquarters of the Kien Hung Ward People's Committee (Van Phu New Urban Area), the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Hung Ward organized an art program to welcome the New Year 2026.
In the final moments of the year, as the footsteps of spring knock on every door, the art program praising the Party and President Ho Chi Minh further ignites faith and aspirations for a breakthrough year in 2026 – Kien Hung ward entering an era of growth that will bring new achievements and contribute to the construction and development of the Capital city.
The event attracted a large number of people from the ward and surrounding areas. The program featured spectacular artistic performances about the homeland, country, and people of Vietnam, reflecting the historical and cultural traditions, patriotism, self-reliance, and aspirations of the nation; affirming the people's unwavering faith in the Party's leadership and the great achievements the country has attained in the past term.
