Hundreds of Hmong girls from remote villages gathered at the Si Ma Cai Central Stadium to perform the largest-scale Hmong coin dance in Vietnam. Dressed in their traditional costumes, these Hmong girls were likened to "forest flowers" amidst the vast forests of Si Ma Cai. Viewed from above, the colorful brocade dresses combine to form a giant, vibrant, and lively flower amidst the mountains and forests of Si Ma Cai. The feet of the Hmong girls move rhythmically and gracefully across the ground. With each dance step, the wide, flowing folds of their brocade skirts flutter in the swirling motion, creating a mesmerizing visual synergy of movement and color.
The coin-shaped stick is lightly tapped against the palm of the hand or elbow to create unique sounds.
