NDO - On February 8th, the 2025 Peach Blossom Festival officially opened in Vinh Son commune, Vinh Thanh district (Binh Dinh province) with the theme "Spring Colors of Peach Blossoms - Connecting Cultures". The event, held in K3 village, Vinh Son commune, attracted thousands of visitors from all over to attend and enjoy the festivities.
Organized for the first time, the peach blossom festival will take place over two days (February 8-9), promising visitors unique experiences through the distinctive cultural activities of the Ba Na Kriem ethnic group.
Here, visitors can browse stalls showcasing local products such as rice wine, bamboo-cooked rice, and herbal tea, and enjoy specialty dishes like sturgeon, grilled free-range chicken with lime leaves and salt, and wild greens. These dishes are not only appealing for their delicious flavors but also reflect the rich cultural identity of the Ba Na people.
One of the highlights of the festival is the gong performances, recreating the traditional rituals of the Ba Na people. Visitors can also participate in a photography contest with the theme of Vinh Son peach blossoms, offering a chance to capture beautiful and memorable moments of the festival.

The festival also offers visitors the opportunity to explore the unique culture of the Ba Na Kriem people through cultural exchange activities, performances of the New Rice Festival, participation in folk games, and performances of gong music and traditional dances.
Visitors can also explore the Traditional Exhibition House area, the temperate vegetable garden, and discover beautiful sights such as Hang Doi waterfall, Ta Kon citadel, Son Lang waterfall, and terraced rice fields.
Mr. Huynh Duc Bao, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Thanh District, said that this year's peach blossom festival is an important event to promote the image of Vinh Thanh District, while contributing to the development of tourism and preserving traditional cultural values.
Mr. Bao also emphasized that the festival is an opportunity for Vinh Son to showcase the unique natural beauty and culture of the highlands.

The peach blossom festival is not only an important event to promote the image of the district but also contributes to the development of tourism and the preservation of traditional cultural values.
