Salah is disappointed with Liverpool.

Currently, Salah is still waiting for Liverpool to clarify their position on the duration and terms of any potential contract offers, amidst interest from top European clubs in signing him on a free transfer at the end of this season.

Salah's current contract doesn't allow him to negotiate with other clubs, but that will change from January 1, 2025, when the 32-year-old striker will be allowed to pre-sign contracts with teams outside of England.

According to informed sources, Salah has not yet entered into any negotiations with other clubs. However, he is gradually losing patience with the slow pace of talks and doubts that Liverpool will be able to meet his salary demands.

Salah is currently Liverpool's number one star.

L'Equipe recently reported that PSG have been in contact with Salah, but the Ligue 1 club denies being in negotiations. Liverpool have also declined to comment on the current situation.

Salah has emphasized his desire to stay at Liverpool and is not pushing for a departure. Following the victory against Southampton last November, he expressed his "disappointment" at not having received an official offer from the club, despite also affirming his "love" for The Reds.

Nevertheless, Salah believes he is one of the best players in the world , and therefore hopes that any new contract will reflect his level of skill and contributions.

Salah is having an impressive season, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists in 20 appearances across all competitions. Recently, Salah played a crucial role in Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Manchester City, assisting Cody Gakpo's opening goal and then successfully converting a penalty.

This result solidifies Liverpool's position at the top of the Premier League table, with a nine-point lead over second-placed Arsenal and an eleven-point lead over Manchester City. Salah remains hungry for Premier League and Champions League titles with Liverpool this season.

Salah's current contract, signed in 2022, makes him the highest-paid player in Liverpool's history, with a base salary of around £350,000 per week, not including performance-related bonuses.

Liverpool previously rejected a £150 million offer from Al Ittihad in the summer of 2023. Salah remains confident he is at the peak of his career and does not see age as a barrier to his ambition of winning the Ballon d'Or in the future.
