- The process of reorganizing villages and residential areas has brought about significant changes in many localities in the western part of Quang Ngai province. Villages inhabited by Kinh people and villages inhabited by ethnic minorities have been merged, forming new residential communities.

This change ushers in a new era of unity, with brotherly ethnic groups living together and fostering a spirit of solidarity to build their homeland.
In Ia Chim commune, the Kinh ethnic village of Ia Hoi and the Ba Na village of the Ro Ngao branch merged to form the village of Dak Nang. Before sharing the same name, the two villages had a long-standing sister village relationship.
Following the reorganization, Ia Chim commune now has three newly merged villages composed of Kinh people and ethnic minorities. Differences in customs are no longer a barrier, but have become an opportunity for the community to share, support each other, and develop together.
Village 8, with 100% Xơ Đăng ethnic minority people, merged with Village 13, inhabited by Kinh people, to form Village 4 in Kon Braih commune. With them as a single community, the people hope for more innovation and the building of a closer-knit community.
From separate communities, they now share a common name and a single new village. The blending of the Kinh people and ethnic minorities has not diminished the identity of each community, but rather spreads a spirit of solidarity, sharing, and mutual support in building a better life.
