On the morning of September 4th, a serious rockslide occurred at kilometer 458+200 of the Lac Son railway line, near Lac Son station (Tuyen Hoa commune, Quang Tri province), completely blocking the North-South railway.

At approximately 6:10 AM, three large rocks, ranging in volume from 1.5 to 3 cubic meters, unexpectedly rolled down from the mountaintop, causing a section of the railway track to be severely damaged and displaced. Fortunately, no trains were passing through at the time of the incident. Immediately, trains on the line were notified to stop at nearby stations to ensure safety.
