Hang Pu Xi village devastated after historic flood. |
Faced with the great loss of the people, the local government, along with the military and police forces, urgently made plans to enter the flooded area to help overcome the consequences of the natural disaster. However, the road leading to the village was eroded by rocks and soil, making rescue work and transporting food and provisions by vehicle to the village extremely difficult. However, with the spirit of "forgetting oneself for the people", the soldiers of Uncle Ho's Army worked day and night, overcoming mud and rushing water, spending several hours on foot to reach Hang Pu Xi village to bring necessary food to support the people.
It was in the midst of such hardship, pain and loss that the spirit of resilience, solidarity and deep affection between the army and the people shone forth to overcome the cruelty of nature. The images of soldiers wading through mud to search for missing people, taking people to the emergency room at night, helping people clear mud, dredge canals, repair houses... moved many people.
The pain will pass, the villages will revive, but in the hearts of every citizen, the army is always a special support that has been helping the people here to recover, stand up from the flood, and heal the wounds after natural disasters. In them, the image of Uncle Ho's army always shines, always ready to sacrifice for the peace of the Fatherland and the people.
