Saudi Arabia wants Ronaldo to change clubs.

The Portuguese superstar could leave Al Nassr and join another big club in the Saudi Pro League next season.

According to Maisfutebol , the 40-year-old superstar is unhappy with Al Nassr's current project. Despite numerous promises to revamp the squad, the Saudi Arabian club has yet to win any official title in the past three years.

Marca reports that negotiations between Ronaldo and Al Nassr have stalled. CR7 wants to think more about his future before making the next decision in his career.

Saudi Arabian media outlets have speculated that Ronaldo could join Al Hilal, Al Nassr's rival, to fuel his championship ambitions. Saudi Arabia's public investment fund, which owns 75% of the country's top clubs, is reportedly considering this possibility. Al Hilal boasts more star players than Al Nassr, potentially helping Ronaldo compete for titles next season.

CR7's move to Al Hilal also allows him to represent Saudi Arabia at the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in mid-June. US President Donald Trump is reportedly keen for Ronaldo to participate in the tournament. This could put pressure on Al Hilal to facilitate the transfer.

After two and a half years with Al Nassr, Ronaldo scored 97 goals and provided 19 assists in 109 matches. This season alone, he leads the Saudi Pro League top scorer list with 23 goals, surpassing both Karim Benzema and Hamdallah.

Ronaldo's son, Cristiano Jr., impressed with his height, surpassing his teammates of the same age, at the first training session of the Portuguese U15 team, in preparation for the Vlatko Markovic International Tournament from May 13-18.
