From September 29th, SCB officially ceased operations (dissolved) the Pham Phu Thu branch. The Pham Phu Thu branch's full Vietnamese name was Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Binh Tay Branch - Pham Phu Thu Branch, and its address was 239 Pham Van Chi Street, Ward 3, District 6, Ho Chi Minh City.
From October 3rd, the Ly Thuong Kiet branch will officially cease operations (be dissolved). The full Vietnamese name of the Ly Thuong Kiet branch is Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Thong Nhat Branch - Ly Thuong Kiet Branch, and its address is at 85 and part of the ground floor of building number 87 (new number 450) Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Ward 7, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
SCB closes two more branches.
Although the Pham Phu Thu and Ly Thuong Kiet branches have ceased operations, all rights and transactions of customers at these two branches are guaranteed to be fully carried out at other SCB transaction points.
Furthermore, from October 3rd, Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Tan Binh Branch (SCB Tan Binh) will officially relocate to its new address at 85 and part of the ground floor of building number 87 (new number 450), Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Ward 7, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City. Prior to the relocation, SCB Tan Binh was located at 341 Cong Hoa Street, Ward 13, Tan Binh District.
The relocation of SCB Tan Binh branch is based on the approval of the State Bank of Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City Branch, as per Official Letter No. 2533 dated September 5, 2023. It is also based on Decision No. 101 dated September 19, 2023, of the SCB Board of Directors regarding the change of location for the Tan Binh branch. All customer rights and transactions are fully guaranteed at all SCB transaction points.
