The DONGNAI.LIS software will be used uniformly upon the merger of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces.

(Dong Nai) - On May 12th, the Department of Science and Technology held a working session with relevant departments and agencies of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces to discuss plans for implementing the revision of land cadastral records and databases in the field of natural resources and environment when rearranging provincial-level administrative units.

Attending the working session were representatives from the Departments of Agriculture and Environment and Finance of Dong Nai province, and the Departments of Science and Technology, Agriculture and Environment of Binh Phuoc province .

The meeting focused on issues related to the rectification of land cadastral records and databases when reorganizing administrative units at all levels in the area; synchronizing land data with the national land database… in preparation for the merger of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces.

Accordingly, the relevant departments and agencies agreed that the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai province, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Phuoc province, will finalize a plan for connecting and synchronizing local land data with the national land database.

Speaking at the meeting, Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, Ta Quang Truong, proposed the unified use of the DONGNAI.LIS software developed by the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, with adjustments and expansions to suit the new Dong Nai province model.

Regarding the task of updating and revising land cadastral records and databases when rearranging commune-level administrative units in Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces, relevant units need to proactively implement this locally based on the currently deployed information system, ensuring stable operation from July 1, 2025.
