The 33rd SEA Games kicked off in Thailand amidst a chaotic atmosphere as organizational flaws continued to cast a shadow over Southeast Asia's biggest sporting event.

The image, which was expected to be the official promotional material, revealed many careless details, from disorderly typography to a disjointed layout, leading the online community to question its professionalism.

Previously, Thai media outlets unanimously stated that the promotional atmosphere for this year's Games was almost completely silent. Regional newspapers described Thailand as entering its quietest SEA Games in decades. Even local residents were unaware of the competition schedule or venues.

The stormy weather has further disrupted Thailand's plans. Flooding in the south forced organizers to move 10 events from Songkhla to Bangkok and Chonburi. This last-minute adjustment has created pressure to rebuild infrastructure and risks cost overruns.

Furthermore, many athletes have complained about delayed salaries, cuts in allowances, and a lack of financial transparency. In this context, Thailand still aims to win the overall medal and break the record of 241 gold medals – an ambition questioned by even the host country's own athletes.
