On the morning of November 12th, singer Siu Black angrily shared on her personal page that numerous social media sites were spreading rumors of her death. These sites even photoshopped images of the singer at her funeral, including photos of close friends from the entertainment industry such as Phuong Thanh and Quang Ha.

Following the incident, the "Nightingale of the Mountains" shared that she was very shocked when fans sent her the aforementioned images:

"Siu Black was truly shocked when she saw these images, shocked that social media could do such things! You should stop immediately, you should respect others, write what is true, don't write recklessly."

Singer Phuong Thanh was also very upset about being photoshopped into the aforementioned image: "Being close friends is also a burden, isn't it? When someone else has a problem, we always end up in the spotlight."

Phuong Thanh also emphasized: "Siu Black is still alive, and I'm currently in Japan." Diva Hong Nhung, seeing her colleague being subjected to malicious rumors, also spoke up: "How can anyone be so cruel?"

In fact, these malicious rumors have been quite common, and the "victims" are often well-known artists in the entertainment industry. Previously, several artists such as Hong Van, Cong Ly, Chi Trung, Hoai Linh, Xuan Hinh, Tran Thanh, and MC Dai Nghia have also been involved in such rumors.

Regarding the incident, MC Dai Nghia calmly stated: "I don't feel scared, angry, or sad, I just find it funny."

Meanwhile, Tran Thanh expressed his frustration at rumors of his death from COVID-19: "I think it's time we had very specific and strict laws for managing how people use social media."

Nowadays, true and false information are mixed together. Anyone can post whatever they want without verification, without caring about accuracy. They certainly don't think about the consequences their posts might have on others."
