iPhone 15 Pro Max Camera Review

The main camera has a 48MP resolution, f/1.78 aperture, and sensor-shift optical image stabilization; the ultra-wide camera has a 12MP resolution, f/2.2 aperture, and a 120° field of view; the 5x telephoto camera has a 12MP resolution, f/2.8 aperture, and sensor-shift optical image stabilization. The front camera has a 12MP resolution, f/2.2 aperture, supports Face ID, and a new video recording feature called “Spatial Video”.

The most notable feature on the iPhone 15 Pro Max is its 5x periscope zoom camera, compared to just 3x on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Another upgrade is the lens material, which has switched to glass coated with plastic, instead of being entirely plastic as before. This is not only more durable but, more importantly, improves optical quality.

Pixel 7 Pro camera review

When it comes to the camera, the Pixel 7 Pro has already been praised for its ability to capture beautiful photos that rival any flagship, and the author is delighted that Google has maintained this advantage on the Pixel 7 Pro. The Pixel 7 Pro's main camera boasts a 50 MP resolution, producing impressive images with a beautiful dynamic range and vibrant colors. This lens will be paired with a dedicated 48 MP telephoto camera for the Pro version and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

The optical zoom feature of the telephoto camera has been upgraded from 4x to 5x zoom. This may not seem like a huge upgrade, but it will still give you better zoom capabilities, more detailed cropping, and the ability to discover more interesting shooting angles.

It's clear that both the iPhone 15 Pro and the Google Pixel 7 have their own strengths. The iPhone 15 Pro excels in video, while the Pixel 7 Pro wins in the still photography category. Using advanced image processing technology, the iPhone 15 Pro Max accurately reproduces colors and produces sharp, natural-looking photos. The 12MP wide-angle camera allows users to capture wider angles, comfortably capturing landscapes or groups of people. Whether shooting close-ups or from a distance, the iPhone 15 Pro Max performs well and delivers sharp, high-resolution images. The Pixel 7 Pro camera, on the other hand, produces high-resolution and detailed photos. Its accurate color reproduction and white balance help create vibrant and natural images.
