On October 10th, Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh, Chief of the Office of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province , signed and issued an invitation to relevant parties to attend a meeting on October 12th to listen to and verify the allegations of players being "shortchanged" on their earnings in the 2023 First Division League.
However, recently, a complaint from Binh Thuan players addressed to the Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, the Binh Thuan Provincial Inspectorate, and the Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism has appeared on social media.

According to the complaint, 18 players have accused Mr. Le Ba Hung, director of the Binh Thuan Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, of failing to pay the team their season-long prize money. In addition, they allege that the team's meal allowance was constantly being cut, sometimes at the whim of others.
In addition, the quarterly and annual shoe allowances have not been received; and the money and taxes illegally deducted for May by some players have still not been reimbursed.
Upon receiving the complaint, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan Province held a meeting with relevant parties at 8:00 AM on October 12th in meeting room number 1 of the headquarters to listen to, discuss, and verify the contents of the complaint.
The invitation letter was requested by the Department of Sports Training and Competition to be sent to the team members today, October 10th, by the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.
On October 10th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province sent a letter to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) regarding Binh Thuan Club's request to withdraw from the 2023 National First Division League.
Official document No. 2693/SVHTTDL-QLTDTT clearly states: "Due to the very short preparation time for the new season and the fact that the Project to socialize the Binh Thuan football team to transform into a Joint Stock Football Company (according to the current Professional Football Regulations) has not yet been approved, there are still some difficulties, especially regarding funding and the formation of a football organization operating under the Enterprise Law."
