Quang Ngan and Quang Cong communes (Quang Dien district) have 12km of coastline with many beautiful beaches, such as: Tan My, Cuong Giang, Tan Thanh, An Loc... moderate depth, clear blue water, white sand stretches. . Thanks to keeping the wild beauty and having many typical local dishes, tourists are more and more interested in coming here, then spreading the information to friends and relatives. Le Thi Hang, owner of Hang beach An Loc restaurant shared: “My shop has only been open since July, with 7 tables. The good thing is that not only on weekends but also on weekdays, it is also crowded, mainly from outside the locality who come to swim and eat seafood."
According to Mr. Vo Duc Khiem, Vice Chairman of Quang Cong Commune People's Committee, the number of tourists traveling by tour, 45-50 seater car to Cuong Giang, Tan Thanh and An Loc beaches is quite a lot. Compared to previous years, this year the number of visitors increased by 5-6 times. Surveys also show that guest feedback appreciates and wants to return.
Along with the beaches in Quang Cong and Quang Ngan communes of Quang Dien district, Hai Duong beach (Hue city) is also crowded with visitors on weekends. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, a tourist shared: "This place has beautiful rocky beaches and sea suitable for taking pictures, check-in, good service, so me and my family love to come here".
In recent years, to attract tourists, localities have focused on investing in infrastructure and service quality. Quang Dien district alone has implemented many solutions to exploit and promote sea strengths in tourism development. Mr. Nguyen Huu Truyen, Chairman of Quang Cong Commune People's Committee, informed that from resources, the district has invested in physical facilities and technical infrastructure for service and tourism development, such as expanding and renewing a number of routes, making welcome gates, tourist car parks, making watchtowers to ensure safety when tourists swim in the sea; leveling ground, rearranging restaurants and creating conditions to open some more business establishments to promote services, in order to meet the needs of tourists. A number of homestay accommodation facilities are invested and built to serve the accommodation needs of tourists.
Mr. Hoang Huu Dat, owner of Lang Ruoc - Ruoc Village resort, said that, operating from April 4, the number of guests coming to stay is quite large. Guests share the reason they like the beaches here because the sea is clean and beautiful, the food is delicious and cheap. Compared to many other beaches, the price of food services here is quite affordable, guests or locals all apply the same price. In addition, some beaches also have a free policy of parking, fresh water bathing and changing rooms…
Marine tourism in the beaches here develops not only to bring tourism revenue but also to create valuable effects. Fishermen going to the beach are also convenient to sell fresh seafood to customers without going through traders, many local workers have more jobs.
Expand and improve service quality
The flourishing signal of sea tourism in the northern region creates opportunities for localities here to attract investment, expand and improve service quality to attract more tourists.
Vice Chairman of Quang Ngan Commune People's Committee Tran Tuat said that investment in development and service assurance to keep guests were always carried out in parallel. As the number of visitors increases, the issue of food safety and hygiene, environmental hygiene, and safety for guests must be paid more attention. The locality has set up self-management teams to check and ensure the safety of guests and advise people to bathe in safe waters, not to bathe when there are big waves. The interdisciplinary inspection team of the district and commune also inspected and guided business households to complete all procedures, from business license, health check, food safety certification. Listing reasonable prices, attentive service to visitors. The localities also mobilized people to boldly invest in facilities, develop services and tourism to serve tourists more and more diversified and richer, creating satisfaction for tourists when to visit, experience and use tourism products and services; communicate, behave civilly and politely; preserve the environment. According to Vice Chairman of Quang Cong Commune People's Committee Vo Duc Khiem, the local policy is to give priority to people in the commune to open services, develop livelihoods and increase income.
