2026 saw the acceleration of electric motorcycle manufacturers such as VinFast , Yadea, and Dat Bike, with numerous product launches, promotions, and related plans aimed at increasing their market influence.
Honda is also joining the trend, having recently added a new electric motorcycle model to its lineup, the UC3. This model has a listed price of 80-81.4 million VND (including 10% VAT).
However, during the initial sales period, the Honda UC3 was priced at 56.5-57.9 million VND, equivalent to a discount of approximately 22 million VND according to the manufacturer's promotional policy. This program is valid until further notice.

Priced at nearly 60 million VND, higher than most mainstream electric motorcycles on the market, the UC3 is positioned in the premium segment. This Japanese model will target customers looking for a feature-rich and technologically advanced electric motorcycle from the Honda brand.
In addition to new vehicles, Honda is also deploying a charging station system at authorized dealerships in major cities. According to the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, the charging stations for the UC3 and future models use CHAdeMo technology with a power output of 1,200W per charging port.
Besides the UC3, Honda Vietnam currently distributes two other electric motorcycle models. The CUV e: is also positioned in the premium segment and offers battery swapping at dealerships. The ICON e: belongs to the mainstream segment, targeting students.
Also in the electric motorbike segment for students, the Yadea brand recently launched the new Omee model with prices ranging from 15.99 to 21.99 million VND.
According to the manufacturer, this model has a top speed of 48 km/h and can travel approximately 89 km on a single charge. Some notable features include LED headlights, a smartphone- connected display, a driver assistance system, GPS navigation to help users and parents easily track the vehicle's location, an electronic fence to monitor the operating range, and alerts for abnormal movement and vehicle rollover.

To encourage users to switch to green vehicles, Yadea is also implementing a "Trade in your gasoline vehicle for an electric vehicle" program in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City until the end of July. In addition, the company announced a collaboration with partners to develop specialized electric motorcycle models for ride-hailing drivers.
As for VinFast, the company already has a diverse range of models and is currently focusing on expanding its dealership network and battery swapping stations. In mid-June, the Vietnamese automaker simultaneously opened 66 new dealerships in 22 provinces and cities, thereby increasing the scale of its official electric motorcycle distribution network to nearly 750 locations.

Regarding battery swapping stations, V-Green, in collaboration with EVNHANOI, is deploying 10,000 VinFast electric motorbike battery swapping cabinets in Hanoi. Over the past period, the company has continuously partnered with major partners to expand its nationwide network of charging stations and electric vehicle battery swapping cabinets, aiming to reach 60,000 VinFast electric motorbike battery swapping cabinets by the second quarter.
Currently, VinFast is the largest electric motorcycle brand in Vietnam by sales volume, according to Motorcycles Data . In the first quarter of 2026, the brand sold 143,136 electric motorcycles and electric bicycles, a 219% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
