Practical youth projects
In Chau Thanh commune, the youth volunteer movement is becoming increasingly in-depth as activities are implemented in conjunction with the practical needs of the people, such as building transportation infrastructure, housing, and caring for vulnerable groups in society.
One of the notable achievements is the road construction project in Giong Trom hamlet. The 200-meter-long road, costing approximately 35 million VND, was completed thanks to the joint efforts of Youth Union members, officers, soldiers of the 2nd Mobile Police Battalion, and local residents. The project contributes to improving transportation conditions, facilitating the transport of goods, and promoting the economic development of the people.
Mr. Thach Vet, Secretary of the Youth Union branch in Giong Trom hamlet, shared: "The Youth Union members are very excited to join hands in carrying out community service projects. Through this activity, the local youth continue to promote a sense of responsibility and contribute to building a more prosperous homeland."
