(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the evening of January 22nd, at the Hrê Cultural Conservation Center in Son Ha district, the Son Ha District People's Committee organized a cultural and artistic performance featuring gongs, stringed instruments, and folk songs to celebrate the Party and the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon 2024.
This activity is part of a series of practical events to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and the 49th anniversary of the liberation of Son Ha district (March 17, 1975 - March 17, 2024).

The program consisted of 19 elaborately staged performances in various genres such as singing and dancing, modern dance, and Hrê ethnic instrumental ensembles, with themes about the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, Hrê cultural identity, spring, homeland, and country. The performances created a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, attracting a large number of officials and people to watch and cheer.

The cultural festival night was organized to meet the cultural needs of the people in the mountainous district of Son Ha; to create a favorable environment for artisans and performers to have the opportunity to interact and learn; to encourage exploration and creativity, and to preserve the unique cultural and artistic values of the ethnic group. Through this, it aims to preserve and promote the cultural identity of the Hre ethnic group in conjunction with tourism development.
