According to VGC , Sonic Mania Plus will be available on mobile devices for the first time through Netflix's gaming service. The arrival of the fan-favorite Sonic game is part of a wave of new content coming to the platform. Netflix confirmed the game will be released in 2024 for Android and iPhone devices.

The 'Plus' version of Sonic Mania was released for consoles and PC in 2018, featuring a remixed Encore mode and two new playable characters: Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel.
