Ariana Grande's stylist commissioned a dress from a Vietnamese designer.

Singer Ariana Grande recently marked her return after 4 years with the release of her 7th studio album, Eternal Sunshine, along with the music video for "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)". Notably, in a recent preview for Saturday Night Live , she wore a dress by a Vietnamese designer.

Specifically, this dress is from designer Tran Hung's Autumn-Winter 2023 collection. The dress features a minimalist strapless silhouette and is made from high-quality 100% silk velvet. In addition, the pastel pink design is further enhanced with Miyuki Japanese beads embellished to form camellia flower motifs.

Speaking to a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper, designer Tran Hung revealed: "I admire and love Ariana Grande and her music . Therefore, I often follow and update myself on Ariana's music and life."

When I received the offer from Mimi Cuttrell – her stylist – at the end of January, I felt happy because I thought it was recognition for my creativity and new advancements in the journey to affirm the position of Vietnamese fashion in general on the world map."

Accordingly, Ariana Grande's stylist followed and paid attention to the collections that Tran Hung showcased at London Fashion Week . Feeling that they suited the singer, the stylist proactively commissioned a custom design.

Upon receiving the measurements of the "One Last Time" singer, Tran Hung said he wasn't too surprised. He had already estimated the proportions and measurements. Ariana Grande preferred the original design, so she didn't request any alterations to the dress.

To complete and ship the dress to the US on time, the designer and her team had to work overtime.
