On the morning of November 27th, Mr. Huynh Truong Nhat (residing in Tay Nha Trang ward) pushed his scooter, still covered in mud and water, to a free repair point at Cho Moi Parish Church (Luong Dinh Cua street).
In the churchyard, dozens of volunteers and mechanics were busy changing oil and cleaning engines for the locals. Nhat wrote his name and phone number on the motorcycle seat and waited for a mechanic to call him, but the number of motorcycles waiting had already exceeded 500.

Amidst dozens of motorbikes lying scattered around, Mr. Do Duy Loc, a skilled motorbike repairman in Tay Nha Trang ward, worked tirelessly without rest. Mr. Loc said that even though his own house was severely flooded, he immediately registered to participate when he learned about the program needing mechanics, hoping that people would soon have means of transportation.
The program, implemented by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Construction in coordination with the Khanh Hoa Motorcycle Technicians Association, offers free repairs at three locations: Cho Moi Parish Church (Tay Nha Trang Ward), Dien Khanh Children's House (Dien Khanh Commune), and the area in front of the People's Council and People's Committee headquarters in Nam Nha Trang Ward.

At these locations, residents' vehicles are cleaned, oil is changed, spark plugs are replaced, air filters are cleaned, and the braking and electrical systems are checked. They are also advised on how to identify damage after flooding. For damage beyond on-site repair capabilities, support personnel will guide residents to contact reputable repair shops.
For complex faults on smart scooters, the technical team only provides advice, prioritizing repairs that allow the vehicle to temporarily operate to serve immediate transportation needs.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan (residing in Nam Nha Trang ward) said that her house was flooded by more than 2 meters, and both of her motorbikes were severely damaged. When bringing her motorbikes in for repair, she emotionally said: "Thank you very much to the government and the volunteers. The program has warmed our hearts after days of heavy rain and flooding."

The fact that vehicles could be restarted and the relieved smiles of the people showed the great significance of the program. In times of hardship, the joint efforts of the government and the community once again became a timely source of encouragement for the people in the flood-affected areas.
