The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, with its many practical and meaningful activities, has awakened the pioneering and volunteer spirit of young people in participating in socio-economic development, contributing to ensuring social welfare, national defense, and security. Many projects and tasks have been implemented effectively, creating a ripple effect in the community.

Youth Union branches throughout the province simultaneously launched the "Digital Summer Campaign with VNeID" to support people in installing, activating, and using VNeID electronic identity accounts.

Many practical activities

The 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign has many rich and practical contents, promoting the pioneering and volunteer spirit of young people in participating in socio-economic development, solving issues of public concern; building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; ensuring social security, national defense and security, especially in difficult areas, remote and disadvantaged regions. At the launching ceremony of the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, Comrade Bui Duc Giang - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - emphasized: Youth Union branches at all levels need to focus on four key tasks: promoting digital transformation in the community; implementing projects to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; implementing sustainable volunteering according to the "3 linkages" principle; and focusing on safety activities, swimming lessons, and drowning prevention for children during the summer. Immediately after the launch, the Provincial Youth Union and its partner units donated 15 bicycles. In coordination with the Student Union of the University of Labor and Social Affairs, they awarded 10 scholarships, contributing to motivating and encouraging students to excel in their studies; and simultaneously implemented many practical volunteer activities in the locality. Youth union members and student union members participated in environmental sanitation, clearing garbage hotspots, painting murals to promote environmental protection, contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful landscape; organizing summer activities, games, and skills education for young people, creating a beneficial and safe playground during the summer.

With a focus on disadvantaged areas, in Toan Thang commune, the Hoa Binh Ward Youth Union coordinated with other units to organize the launching ceremony of the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign with many practical and meaningful activities aimed at community service and environmental protection. Highlights included a program of free medical examinations, health consultations, and medication distribution, as well as gift giving to 100 policy beneficiaries, elderly people, and disadvantaged households in the commune. Medical staff diligently examined patients, provided health care advice, and guided residents on disease prevention and control measures, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people. Youth union members also participated in planting trees at Mieu Ca, contributing to improving the environmental landscape, raising awareness of nature conservation, and responding to the emulation movement to build a green, clean, and beautiful environment. These practical activities have demonstrated the pioneering spirit, volunteerism, and responsibility of young people towards the community, contributing to the effective implementation of social welfare, environmental protection, and the building of new rural areas.

The highlight of this year's Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is the simultaneous launch ceremony at all Youth Union branches throughout the province, responding to the "Digital Summer Campaign with VneID," guiding digital citizens and accompanying the people in implementing Project 06. Youth volunteer teams directly guide people in installing, activating, and using VNeID electronic identity accounts; support the use of online public services; and disseminate digital skills and digital utilities for daily life. They also assist parents in registering and activating electronic identity accounts for their children; and guide students in accessing and using age-appropriate digital utilities. The campaign is widely implemented to promote the pioneering role of Youth Union members in the digital transformation, contributing to improving the digital capacity of the people, building digital citizens and a digital society, and spreading digital culture in the community.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Phuong - Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee and Secretary of the Youth Union of Tam Nong commune, said: “In implementing the national policy of promoting digital transformation and promoting the pioneering role of young people in participating in building a digital government and digital society, the commune's Youth Union has actively carried out activities to support and guide people in installing applications, verifying accounts, integrating health insurance cards, and updating necessary information to form electronic health records as prescribed.
