Regarding the case of a container truck that killed a 10th grade male student and then fled in Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City, on the afternoon of November 23, Ho Chi Minh City Police informed that the driver had an alcohol concentration when driving the vehicle.
Immediately after the accident, the investigation agency verified and seized the container truck and worked with the driver. Initially determined, the driver was born in 1978, from Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province. The investigation agency requested the Criminal Science Institute of the Ministry of Public Security to examine the collision traces of the vehicles involved.
According to records, 2 young men who were not old enough to drive and the tractor-trailer driver tested negative for drugs and had an alcohol concentration of 0,2 mg/liter of blood. Currently, the case has been handled by the Investigation Agency, Hoc Mon District Police in coordination with Hoc Mon District People's Procuracy according to regulations.
