The taxi drove quickly, hitting a motorbike carrying two people waiting at a red light at the intersection of Ngo Gia Tu - Dang Vu Hy, Long Bien district, on the evening of March 22.
At around 23:10 p.m., the taxi drove from the train ramp toward Dang Vu Hy. Before passing a car parked on the side of the road, the taxi hit a motorbike carrying a couple waiting for a red light at the intersection of Ngo Gia Tu - Dang Vu Hy - Nguyen Cao Luyen.
Two motorcyclists were thrown into the air and fell onto the road. The female victim was also run over by a taxi. The motorbike got stuck under the taxi and was dragged about 10 meters.

According to Traffic Police Team No. 5 (Hanoi City Police), the two victims were thrown about 7 meters and were in critical condition. The driver was trapped in a taxi whose front was deformed and had to be helped out.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
