Who is the new CEO of PJICO?

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Mr. Tran Anh Tuan has been appointed as the General Director of PJICO for a 5-year term, effective June 16th, replacing Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang, who was dismissed nearly a month ago.

The Board of Directors of Petrolimex Insurance Joint Stock Company (PJICO - stock code: PGI) has appointed Mr. Tran Anh Tuan as General Director effective June 16th, for a 5-year term.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan is introduced as a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Finance and Banking. He joined PJICO in 1995. He has held various positions such as Deputy Head of the Finance and Accounting Department and Head of the Investment and Finance Department. Before being appointed General Director, he was the Deputy General Director and the company's information disclosure officer.

Previously, PJICO dismissed Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang from her position as General Director effective May 15th. The reason was that Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang no longer met the current regulations to hold the position of legal representative. Ms. Giang had been with PJICO for nearly 30 years.

At that time, PJICO also approved the appointment of Chairman of the Board of Directors Pham Thanh Hai as the legal representative, replacing Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang.

The PJICO Board of Directors also passed a resolution dismissing Mr. Tran Hoai Nam from his position as Deputy General Director, effective May 15th. Mr. Nam has worked at PJICO for nearly 30 years.
