For over 10 years, veteran Le Thanh Hoa has held various positions such as: Head of the residential group, representative of the Ward People's Council for the 2016-2021 term, Standing Committee member of the Ward Senior Citizens Association, Chairman of the Sports Club, Vice Chairman of the Ward Poetry Club... In every position, he has always performed his duties well, especially dedicating himself to the cultural life of the community.

Veteran Le Thanh Hoa contributed to decorating the cultural space at his residence for the Spring Festival of the Year of the Horse 2026.

In his first year as neighborhood leader, Mr. Hoa dedicated all his position allowance to supporting the neighborhood in organizing Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations for the children, promoting mass cultural activities, buying sports uniforms and national flags for families who didn't have them, and purchasing bookshelves for the community center's library. Seeing that the residents lacked a place for recreational activities, he proposed and received approval from the Truong Lam (Viet Hung) Relics Management Board to allocate a portion of the village temple grounds for a multi-purpose sports complex. He used his own money to hire people to lay sand to level the ground and then mobilized residents to contribute over 50 million VND to build a 300m² concrete sports field, clean and beautiful. In addition to the 20 sets of training equipment provided by higher authorities, he made two more sets suitable for high-intensity training for young people. Every day, many people come here, under his guidance, to practice various sports: Tai Chi, volleyball, badminton, sepak takraw, table tennis, martial arts, etc.

During the Lunar New Year of 2016 (Year of the Monkey), he proposed that the neighborhood committee, with funding from social contributions, donate banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) to elderly people aged 70 and above, poor households, and disadvantaged children living in the neighborhood. This practice has been maintained regularly to this day. Furthermore, when the Veterans' Association branch initiated the creation of a 120-meter-long "flower street" opposite the neighborhood's cultural center, Mr. Hoa organized a meeting with the families to ensure a green, clean, and beautiful environment. He advised the Veterans' Association branch to purchase high-quality, reasonably priced ornamental plants from Hung Yen province . This resulted in a model landscape and reduced costs. Now, every afternoon, residents of the neighborhood come to the model flower street at alley 91 to exercise and enjoy the scenery...

In 2023, at the age of 70, Mr. Hoa took on the important responsibility of Head of the Cultural and Sports Club of Truong Lam Cluster. At that time, his wife, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuan, unfortunately fell ill and required regular medical treatment. He focused on caring for her. Understanding her husband's strengths and temperament, Mrs. Thuan encouraged him, saying, "Love your wife, but don't abandon the movement." Recently, to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, and in anticipation of the 16th National Assembly elections and the People's Council elections at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, as well as the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, Mr. Hoa and his wife donated nearly 10 million VND and dozens of days of labor to the neighborhood to install three new propaganda billboards, one mural, and repaint the entire wall in front of the neighborhood's cultural center, creating a vibrant and impressive scene for the community.
