For Lien Chieu district, in 2 and 2022, it is assigned to implement 2023 group C projects with a total investment capital of more than 149 billion VND. Of these, there are 490 projects approved by the City People's Committee and 43 projects authorized by the City People's Committee to decide on investment. Basic projects ensure progress and are completed and put into use on time, serving the production and life needs of the people.
At the meeting, representatives of localities agreed to recommend that the People's Committee and People's Council need to adjust the synchronization mechanism to implement investment preparation work, because most of the delays come from the investment preparation stage. Adjustments to the design, prices of supplies, raw materials, and labor need to be issued before capital is allocated, to avoid the situation where after project approval is completed, capital is allocated before adjusting prices to make project progress.
