The Lam Kinh National Special Historical Site has added more scenic spots for tourists to take photos and check in.
Since the beginning of the year, Thanh Hoa's tourism sector has shown a clear resurgence. This can be seen during the peak summer season, and the autumn-winter tourist season, when many localities, areas, and tourist destinations have attracted a large number of visitors, such as Sam Son ward, Pu Luong community-based ecotourism area, Lam Kinh National Special Historical Site, and Ho Dynasty Citadel. Entering the final months of the year, localities and tourist areas are actively innovating and developing diverse tourism products, ranging from ecotourism and adventure tourism to spiritual tourism, and organizing a variety of cultural and sports events and activities... linked with promotion and marketing efforts, and integrating tourism into digital platforms to attract both domestic and international tourists.
Most notably, Hac Thanh ward has attracted a large number of locals and tourists to Lam Son Square in recent days to shop, visit the exhibition space, and sell agricultural products at the "Exhibition and Introduction of Safe Agricultural and Food Products of Thanh Hoa Province in 2025" event. Nearly 300 booths from Thanh Hoa province and other provinces participated in this event, showcasing a wide variety of OCOP (One Commune One Product) products such as vermicelli made from seaweed and rice, oranges, pomelos, steamed buns, and traditional Vietnamese cakes. In particular, the evening's cultural exchange program, featuring unique performances by local art groups, singers, and actors, created a vibrant atmosphere and left a lasting impression on visitors and shoppers. Through this event, not only are production facilities connected with agricultural and food consumption establishments within and outside the province, but it also creates opportunities to introduce and promote the image of Thanh Hoa province and its people in general, and Hac Thanh ward in particular, to a large number of tourists .
From now until Tet (Lunar New Year), Hac Thanh ward will host many cultural and tourism events offering visitors a variety of experiences. Highlights include Christmas and the 2026 New Year's Day holiday. Every year, during Christmas, the Cathedral, Vincom Plaza shopping center, streets, and cafes are beautifully decorated with lights, Christmas trees, and nativity scenes, attracting many locals and tourists to check in, visit, pray, and enjoy the warm festive atmosphere. For the 2026 New Year's Day holiday, the People's Committee of Hac Thanh ward will organize the "Welcome to the New Year - 2026" program at Lam Son Square on the evening of December 31st, 2025, featuring many special and attractive activities such as shuffle dance performances, ballroom dancing, singing and dancing, modern dance, and a low-altitude fireworks display to welcome the new year. The organized activities will create a special impression, adding appeal and enriching the journey of tourists when they come to visit and explore this place.
The end of the year is also a time when tourists flock to spiritual tourism destinations more frequently, especially at the Lam Kinh National Special Historical Site and the Ho Dynasty Citadel. To better serve the needs of tourists, the Lam Kinh Historical Site Management Board has made good preparations in terms of infrastructure, personnel, ensuring security and order, environmental hygiene, and arranging a team of tour guides to introduce the relics to the people and tourists who come to offer incense and admire the scenery; maintaining the organization of exhibitions and photo displays to promote and introduce the cultural and historical values of the relics. At the Ho Dynasty Citadel, many new products and spaces have also been developed to serve visitors. These include the "Agricultural Culture Space of the Western Capital Region"; the "Outdoor Artifact Exhibition Space"; the display of models of cannons and reforms of the Ho Dynasty... At the same time, the Ho Dynasty Citadel's surrounding area has been included in the tour program to create more attraction for tourists.
According to tourism experts, travel demand is expected to increase significantly towards the end of this year, primarily for short-day tours, close to destinations, and with flexible itineraries. In response to this demand, many localities and businesses have launched a series of attractive promotional products and programs, such as discounted room rates, accommodation service promotions, and souvenir gifts. This creates more diverse options for tourists, stimulating their desire to visit and extending their stay. Simultaneously, tourist areas, attractions, accommodation providers, and food service providers are focusing on investing in infrastructure, building, renovating, and improving the landscape, while maintaining a clean and beautiful environment. Some establishments are also actively decorating their spaces according to holiday themes, contributing to the unique character of the destination and creating many beautiful natural settings for tourists to take souvenir photos.
The end of the year is identified as a peak period for tourist arrivals, therefore the province's tourism industry is striving to research and develop new tourism products to serve visitors; strengthen domestic and international tourism promotion and marketing; and improve the quality of human resources in the tourism sector. Along with this, it is accelerating digital transformation in tourism promotion and advertising activities. Emphasis is placed on upgrading and improving infrastructure, ensuring security, traffic safety, and food safety for residents and tourists. The province will continue to effectively organize a series of unique cultural, sports, and tourism events in various localities to attract tourists...
