In this context, the Youth Union at all levels has proactively shifted its communication methods towards digitalization, increasing interaction and aligning with the information access trends of young people. This is also an effective solution contributing to building a foundation of revolutionary ideology, ethics, and lifestyle for young people; at the same time, creating a positive environment for young people to train, contribute, and mature.
Currently, the province maintains 4 provincial-level Youth Union fanpages, 58 commune-level Youth Union fanpages, and 245 grassroots Youth Union fanpages. In the first quarter of 2026 alone, the Youth Union's digital platforms published over 1,750 news articles and reports promoting Youth Union activities and youth movements, creating a positive impact within the Youth Union community. A notable highlight is the application of digital technology , especially artificial intelligence (AI), in communication efforts. The competition "Creative Media Products on the Election of National Assembly Deputies for the 16th Term and People's Council Deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 Term" attracted over 300 creative entries (video clips, infographics, election dictionaries, etc.) and was widely disseminated on the digital platforms of the Youth Union at all levels.
Many products have generated positive media effects, such as the clip "Trust from the Vote," which attracted over 700,000 views and interactions; and the AI video "Vote of Trust - An 80-Year Journey of Democracy," which garnered over 400,000 views on digital platforms. This shows that young people are not only recipients of information but are also becoming a force directly involved in creating positive content in the online space. Along with innovating communication methods, the Youth Union at all levels also focuses on creating practical environments for young people to train and mature. Through volunteer movements, digital transformation, social welfare, environmental protection, and new rural development, Youth Union members and young people are instilled with a sense of responsibility, dedication, and pride in their homeland and country.
In the first quarter, the entire Youth Union implemented 95 provincial-level youth projects and activities with a total mobilized resource of over 11.3 billion VND. More than 5,200 gifts and scholarships were awarded to students; over 3,000 gift packages were provided to families of policy beneficiaries and people in difficult circumstances; and nearly 3,000 units of blood were received through voluntary blood donation programs. Activities such as "Winter Volunteering," "Spring Volunteering," "Sharing Tet - Loving Tet," "March Border Month," "Youth Union Member Day," and journeys to the roots... not only created a training environment but also contributed to educating young people about beautiful and useful life ideals. Nguyen Minh Tuan (Ha Long ward) shared: "When participating in volunteer activities, I feel myself becoming more mature and understanding the responsibility of young people to the community. Such activities help us live more positively and stay away from negative information on social media."
In the context of increasing subversive activities by hostile forces on the Internet and social media, combating false viewpoints and harmful information has become a particularly important task. Currently, a large proportion of young people spend a lot of time in the digital environment. This presents both opportunities and significant challenges in ideological education.
False information, distorted content, and incitement, if not identified promptly, can easily affect the perceptions and thinking of young people. Therefore, the Youth Union branches at all levels in the province have actively participated in protecting the Party's ideological foundation in cyberspace through many creative models and methods, such as "One good news story every day, one beautiful story every week"; building a team of young social opinion collaborators; and increasing the sharing of official and positive information on social media. At the same time, equipping young people with digital skills and the ability to identify harmful and toxic information has also been given special attention.
In the first quarter of 2026, the entire province organized 233 "Digital Literacy for the People" classes, attracting over 74,500 participants including youth union members, young people, and citizens. Numerous training programs on AI applications, digital skills, and communication skills were implemented to help young people proactively adapt to the modern digital environment.
One of the positive developments today is that many Youth Union branches have proactively grasped the thoughts and aspirations of young people to promptly guide public opinion and resolve issues arising from the grassroots level. Instead of one-way propaganda, many activities are organized in a way that emphasizes dialogue, listening, and accompanying young people in their studies, careers, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship. The organization of the 2026 Dialogue Conference between provincial leaders and youth, conducted in a hybrid format connecting 54 locations with over 5,000 Youth Union members and young people participating, created an important forum for young people to express their thoughts and aspirations, as well as propose solutions for the development of their homeland in the new era.
Combining "construction" and "combat" is a crucial solution for building a new generation of Quang Ninh youth with strong political convictions, modern thinking, responsibility to the community, and the ability to adapt in the digital age. This is also the foundation for young people to continue to play a pioneering and creative role, contributing to building a more prosperous, civilized, and modern homeland.
