In the "Morning Cafe" program, broadcast on VTV3 on the morning of March 23rd, Vietnam Television announced the official return of "Tao Quan" (Kitchen Gods). This special artistic program will air on March 29th, commemorating the 30th anniversary of VTV's first broadcast.
"The 'March Rendezvous' program is a tribute to the audience who have accompanied and loved us throughout the years. One of the highlights is the return of veteran 'Tao' actors in the 'Meeting at the End of the Year' program," according to VTV.

Artist Chi Trung shared: "It's not just the audience who misses the Tet Comedy Show, we miss it a lot too. For this program, we're sticking to the old format and making some changes to bring the joy and flavor of Tet Comedy Show to this anniversary program." Meanwhile, fashion designer Duc Hung said he was moved by the show's return.
These days, artists like Quoc Khanh, Quang Thang, Van Dung, Chi Trung, and others are actively rehearsing to prepare for Tao Quan (the annual Lunar New Year comedy show).
On New Year's Eve of the Year of the Horse (Bính Ngọ), the program "Meeting at the End of the Year - Spring Square" replaced the traditional "Táo Quân" show. However, the program received negative feedback from viewers due to its unappealing content and excessive advertising.
Afterwards, on social media, many viewers expressed their longing for the Táo Quân (Kitchen Gods) show. For many years, Táo Quân has become an indispensable source of entertainment for viewers during every Lunar New Year. Therefore, the absence of the program this year has left both artists and viewers feeling regretful.
For them, the absence of Táo Quân (the annual New Year's Eve comedy show) is not simply the loss of an artistic and entertaining program, but also a longing for the feeling of gathering with family, reflecting on the past year through this show. Táo Quân also brings witty and meaningful laughter, allowing viewers to welcome the New Year's Eve and the new year with joy and excitement.
