Training on child welfare

On the morning of November 26th, the Provincial Department of Population and Children, in coordination with Minh Thanh Secondary School (Thai Binh Ward), organized a training session on children's rights and responsibilities; knowledge and skills for self-protection, prevention of child abuse, and accidents and injuries to children.

During the training session, officials working with children in Thai Binh ward, representatives of teachers and staff, and over 260 students from Minh Thanh Secondary School were imparted basic knowledge and skills on: Children's rights and responsibilities; a general overview of children's right to participation; prevention and control of child abuse and accidents and injuries; identifying issues related to children that students are concerned about; how to analyze and evaluate a problem using the "Problem Tree" method; and forms of expressing issues related to children. In addition, students practiced teamwork skills, discussing issues related to children's lives, analyzing problems, and expressing issues of concern to their group.

The training course contributes to raising awareness and responsibility among students and the community to work together to build a safe living environment for children.
