At the same time, the medical team of Military Region 5 also organized medical examinations and provided medicine to many people who were sick due to the prolonged cold rain. The villagers were moved to receive the first gifts after many days of struggling in the flood.

Over the past few days, complex floods have occurred in Hoa Tam commune, Dak Lak province. The deep flooding in Phuoc Loc and Phuoc Giang villages continues to last, causing serious isolation; in Phuoc Giang village alone, rising floodwaters have completely isolated more than 100 households with over 600 people for over 3 days. In conditions of food, food and medical shortages, people urgently need outside support.

Realizing the danger, Colonel Do Xuan Hung, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5, was present at the scene, directly commanding the forces and vehicles to organize access to the isolated area. Under heavy rain, strong currents and complex terrain, the rescue teams of Military Region 5 closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities, trying to find the fastest and safest approach to bring relief goods inside.

With the spirit of “saving people is an order from the heart”, the forces have overcome many deep and dangerous water points, successfully opening a corridor to access Phuoc Giang village. Currently, the forces of Military Region 5 are still actively surveying and expanding the access route to transport additional supplies, provide medical support and are ready to evacuate people to safe areas if the flood continues to worsen.

With the sense of responsibility and determination of the officers and soldiers of Military Region 5, it is an important support to help the people in the flooded area of Phuoc Giang overcome the most difficult period and gradually stabilize their lives.
