Ho Chi Minh City: Authorities suddenly inspected a house with a sign "Mr. Lee" in Thu Duc City and found a person who had just had a nose job, while other customers were receiving consultation.

On September 22, a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health Inspectorate said that they had coordinated an inspection following people's complaints via the online health application and complaint form.

At the time of inspection, the facility was equipped with an examination bed, a cabinet containing medical equipment, filler injection tools, and many nose-lifting tools with threads as advertised on social networks. This place posted many advertisements for cosmetic services, with pictures of "Mr. Lee" performing nose-lifting with threads and injecting fillers for customers.

The facility could not present professional qualifications, medical practice certificates and legal documents on cosmetic activities. The owner of the facility confirmed to the inspection team that he had learned this technique in Korea, claiming that he had done it correctly, although he could not prove any documents related to cosmetic practice.

The inspection team drew up a report and requested the facility to stop illegal cosmetic practices and stop illegal advertising on social networks. The Department Inspectorate twice invited the facility's representative to clarify the violation, but the person called "Mr. Lee" did not comply. The Department sent a document to the People's Committee and Thu Duc City Police requesting coordination to strictly handle this case.

Recently, the Department has continuously fined and suspended the operations of many individuals and beauty salons and clinics that have violated the law, causing impacts on people's health and lives.
