Visit and give gifts to officers, soldiers and people in flood areas

On the morning of October 5, comrades Mai Duc Thong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; Nguyen Viet Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Hoang Long, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society visited and encouraged officers and soldiers on duty to overcome the consequences of natural disasters caused by storm No. 10 in Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 wards and the people of Linh Ho commune.

The delegation directly visited and encouraged the forces on duty at 26-3 Square and Quang Trung Primary School, which suffered heavy damage as a result of storm No. 10. During the recent storm and flood, hundreds of officers and soldiers accompanied and worked side by side with the people in the activities of moving property, rescuing victims, cleaning up the environment and distributing relief goods. Next, the delegation visited and gave gifts to 3 households whose property and crops were swept away by the flood in Linh Ho commune.

Comrade Mai Duc Thong, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television, visited and encouraged officers and soldiers participating in disaster relief work at Quang Trung Primary School.

The delegation visited families affected by storm No. 10 in Linh Ho commune.

Up to now, the Provincial Red Cross has received 390 million VND in cash and more than 40 tons of relief goods, including 3,900 gifts, 3 tons of rice, 1,600 boxes of instant noodles, 7,575 bottles of drinking water... These gifts will be distributed promptly to support people in flood-affected areas.
